Merry Moppet means Happy Child
Merry Moppet Early Learning Center was founded by Myrtle and Gary Estep in July of 1989. In their years of service to the community they went on to open two more locations providing quallity childcare for the community. In December of 2016, Merry Moppet Early Learning Center was purchased by Beth and Chris Velas. Beth, at the time, was the Director of the Hilliard location. She has had a relationship with the Esteps since first working for them at this location in 1991. After taking over, Beth has kept the main mission of Merry Moppet Early Learning Center the same, to care for each child like our own and to create a learning environment that feels like home.
